Helping the less fortunate stay warm this winter, that’s the goal of a woman from Veazie.
For the last five years, Louise Cunningham has been knitting away and donating to those in need.
“It gives me something to do over the winter, and I try to keep at it during the summer too, when I can.”
Louise Cunningham of Veazie started knitting over a decade ago.
Over time, she was knitting so much, she ran out of family and friends to knit for.
So, she came up with the idea of donating her works to area shelters and the Bangor Police Department.
