The Hike for the Homeless raises awareness of homelessness in our Bangor community and raises funds for the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter.

About the Hike for the Homeless:
- We walk 2.4 miles through downtown Bangor – there are shortcuts along the way.
- Live music by JD Cori Skall – morning co-host on I-95 and afternoon drive host at Z107.3
- $1.00 raffle tickets – we raffled off over $2,700 worth of raffle prizes last year!
- Free water provided by Hollywood Slots.
- Free coffee provided Dunkin’
- Free Jason’s Pizza
- Self-station

State and federal funds only provide one-third of the Shelter’s budget of over $900,000. The donations you make allows the shelter to stay open and helps the homeless right here in the greater Bangor area.
